Parallel 8: Vaccination and health behaviors against pandemic

Vaccines are a key factor in solving the new crown epidemic. Vaccine hesitancy is widespread around the world. Previous studies have found that high government trust increases the public’s recognition of government-guided health policies, while low government trust reduces public health. Policy approval and easily lead to more conspiracy theories. This study examines the relationship between government trust and vaccination. This study analyzed the relationship between the willingness to vaccinate against COVID-19 and the Gini coefficient in each state in the United States. The results show that government trust can significantly and negatively predict people's willingness to vaccinate
