Dear fellow colleagues of science communication:

Thank you for your continued support for the IAMCR 2022 Pre-conference originally scheduled on-site for China-based participants and online for international scholars. We regretfully inform you that due to COVID-19 control measures in China, IAMCR headquarter has decided to hold the IAMCR 2022 Suzhou Pre-conference ENTIRELY ONLINE on Zhumu (https://www.zhumu.com/), which is an authorized partner conference platform of ZOOM in China. Please visit Zhumu (https://www.zhumu.com/) to DOWNLOAD the app in advance. Thanks to the convenience offered by the online setting of this event, the pre-conference is extended from the originally scheduled one day (10 July only) to three days between 8 and 10 July.

So far, the conference has received over 250 submissions from around the world, of which 108 studies have been accepted and will be presented on the plenary or up to 20 parallel parallel sessions. Please feel assured that IAMCR committee is in the process of notifying all authors of review results regarding submitted papers. If you haven’t received any notification, please contact the organization committee.

Under COVID-19 containment protocols, we will unfortunately cancel the originally scheduled Chinese sessions linked to our IAMCR 2022 Suzhou Pre-conference. We wish the schedule change wouldn’t interfered with your arrangements.
